Last week, we hosted a unique training session, "Continuing Your Life's Journey Blissfully," designed to equip our team with the knowledge to support our residents' well-being.

This session, thoughtfully led by Madam Sumathi, a seasoned nurse from Columbia Asia Hospital Iskandar Puteri with an impressive 25 years of experience, was designed with a heartfelt purpose: to equip our dedicated staff nurses and caregivers with the knowledge and tools necessary to help our residents embrace their twilight years with a renewed sense of joy, purpose, and fulfillment.

The curriculum was carefully crafted to address various aspects of creating a positive and enriching environment for our residents. We explored the importance of fostering a welcoming climate, nurturing meaningful friendships, ensuring feelings of love and safety, and cultivating an atmosphere of shared happiness.

We also delved into the nuances of understanding different personality types, including reviewing the characteristics of directors, socializers, thinkers, and supporters.
