Sharpening Minds, Celebrating Culture: Mandarin Word Fun at FCC!

At FCC Family Care Centre, we believe in engaging our residents' minds and celebrating their cultural heritage. Today, we combined both with a fun and stimulating activity focused on Mandarin words!

We started by showing our residents a series of Mandarin word flashcards, testing their memory and recall skills. It was amazing to see their faces light up as they recognised familiar characters and sounds. This exercise not only helps to sharpen their cognitive abilities but also provides a sense of connection to their cultural roots.

Next, we introduced a creative twist: connecting the dots to form Mandarin characters! This activity is not only fun and engaging but also provides numerous cognitive benefits.
