Gardening Day at FCC Family Care Centre

We embraced the beauty of nature with a delightful gardening activity! Our residents spent the morning tending to our garden, planting flowers, and nurturing our growing vegetables.

The fresh air, sunshine, and gentle exercise provided a welcome boost to both body and spirit. Gardening is a fantastic activity for seniors, promoting physical activity, reducing stress, and fostering a sense of connection with the earth.

As Mrs. Wong carefully planted a row of sunflowers, she remarked, "Gardening reminds me of my childhood. My grandmother always had the most beautiful garden, and I loved helping her. It's so peaceful and rewarding to watch things grow.
