A Nurturing Oasis: How FCC Family Care Centre's Garden-to-Bed/Home Initiative Blossoms

 Last month, we had the pleasure of helping our amazing residents bring their garden-to-bed/home concept to life.

Our latest initiative, the garden-to-bed/home concept, aims to bring the soothing essence of nature to residents who are bed-bound or unable to access green spaces.

🌸Through herbal plants, flowers and the experience of harvesting, we're providing them with a connection to nature right at their bedside.

😊Our goal is to ensure they don't miss out on the healing power of nature, allowing them to feel its presence and benefits in their own space.

🌿We spent countless afternoons tending to our vibrant garden, filled with beautiful flowers and fresh herbs. Our seniors not only enjoyed the physical activity but also the sense of accomplishment and joy that came with nurturing something from seed to full bloom.

And let's not forget the endless laughs, stories, and bonding moments that came with each gardening session.
